Nicholas Moroz blew us away with his piece Intralatent, performed at hcmf// 2019, by GBSR Duo to an awed Huddersfield Town Hall audience. While honing his practice as a technically and emotionally versatile composer, he has also been developing as a performer, curator and director for Explore Ensemble, a radical music group that remaps the boundaries of contemporary music, introducing audiences to the work of emerging and free-thinking composers. Through his own music and performances, as well as collaborations with artists such as Zubin Kanga, Moroz has become a mainstay of recent hcmf// programmes.
