Artist to Artist talks

Our Artist to Artist talk series invites musicians to take part in unmoderated discussions, discovering along the way the things that draw them together.

Initially created in partnership with SPARC at City University London, as well as the Centre For Research in New Music (CeReNeM) at Huddersfield University, the series comprised three collectively curated talks recorded for our 2020 festival, and three further conversations presented the following year.

hcmf// is delighted to continue this series with newly curated discussions between artists at different stages of their musical careers. The Artist to Artist talks are unstructured and unplanned, with no hosts, questions or themes – each conversation is an organic exploration of the convergences and divergences between the artists’ music and their practices.
