We’re excited to see Georgia Rodgers’ work Line of Parts released by SN Variations. Rodgers premiered the piece at hcmf// 2019 as part of her residency at the University of Huddersfield, where she participated in the initial Sound Pioneers programme. A beautiful piece constructed from field recordings, Line of Parts was presented in the University’s SPIRAL Studio, as a multi-channel installation for listeners to spend extended time with. SN Variations is releasing a stereo recording of the piece. The release is paired with Notes From the Forest Floor, a new piece by sound artist Chris Watson.
