A freelance opera singer from Huddersfield, Holly Czolacz has had a busy few years stepping in to new roles, including her debut as a violetta in La Traviata at Teatro Bonci, amongst other performances. She’s interested in bringing opera to new audiences through accessible formats.
For Czolacz, opera can be a positive tool in mental health and well-being; for her hcmf// project, she’s interested in staging compressed versions of traditional opera in spaces with vulnerable people, such as hospitals and hospices. Still living in Huddersfield, she’s hopeful she can introduce her hometown to her musical passion.
