Claye Bowler is a visual artist based in Slaithwaite. Curating events under his artist residency programme Yonder, Bowler has started to incorporate sound into other forms of media, hosting installations in his DIY gallery.
As a curator, Bowler is interested in supporting artists making art about the natural surroundings of Slaithwaite; his work as part of hcmf// is focused on identifying new, unusual spaces to present art in. Along with founding and running Yonder, Bowler is also involved in musical communities such as the Trans Yorkshire Choir.
